Sustainable Fall Wardrobe Essentials
Fall is here, well I think so! In Tennessee, it’s been an average 90 degrees for what feels like forever. This weekend it actually started to feel somewhat like Fall. So, I’m look forward to cool nights and sweater weather. Speaking of sweaters, today l’m talking all about sustainable fall wardrobe essentials.
For about a little over year now, I’ve been more conscious about the brands and items that I invest in and have been slowly curating my wardrobe with better quality pieces. Luckily, lots of people are learning about the sustainable fashion movement and doing the same, so there are more options making clothing with sustainable practices way more accessible. A major turnoff for people can be the price of many sustainable and ethical brands. What we have to realize is that yes, the price for sustainable and ethically produced items are higher but that is because they are made with quality materials meant to stay a long time in your closet and the workers who made them actually make a fair, livable wage. Buying better, will actually help you to buy less.
